We are thrilled to unveil our most recent masterpiece, the Balby project! This once-neglected garden space, devoid of charm and functionality, has undergone a remarkable transformation. Nestled on a gentle slope and previously dominated by a large lawn, this garden presented its owners with a daunting challenge – how to make it an enjoyable space for every occasion.
Our clients sought a garden that would not only captivate the senses but also offer versatile usage throughout the day, adapting to the ever-changing positions of the sun. With creativity and precision, we devised a design that divides this space into three distinct zones, each with its own unique character.
The Morning Patio:
The clients wanted to step out of their home and onto an inviting patio, designed for those tranquil morning moments. What sets this patio apart is the meticulous attention to detail showcased in the raised planter. Crafted with perfection, it’s not just a planter; it’s a conversation starter. Clad in natural porcelain tiles, this planter exudes elegance and functionality. Its wide top provides a convenient perch for gatherings, adding an extra layer of versatility to this space.
The Central Oasis:
In the central area we used top-quality artificial grass that looks and feels incredibly real. This low-maintenance option has become a beloved choice among our busy clients. Here, you can unwind, play, or simply bask in the serenity of lush green surroundings. It’s a testament to modern convenience without compromising on the aesthetics of a vibrant, living garden.
Dining and Relaxation Delight:
At the garden’s lower end, we’ve created a dining area that’s truly something special. Featuring a state-of-the-art pergola, it offers the perfect blend of shelter and shade, ensuring your comfort no matter the weather. This is where you’ll want to gather with friends and family for unforgettable moments, all while being serenaded by the natural beauty surrounding you.
To tie these zones together, we’ve crafted a picturesque pebble and porcelain tile path. It not only serves as a practical conduit but also adds an artistic touch to the overall design, ensuring a cohesive flow throughout your garden. Gone are the days of mismatched fencing. We’ve replaced the outdated panels with a contemporary larch fencing option, adding a touch of modern elegance to this outdoor space. We designed two planted sections at the top of the garden. These areas feature a variety of evergreen shrubs and all-season plants, ensuring the garden remains a source of beauty, no matter the season.
