The Bradley and James team, transformed this once stark, hardscaped garden into a beautiful and welcoming retreat. Originally covered in a mix of paving slabs, the space felt uninviting and lacked greenery. The owners wanted to soften the garden’s appearance and create multiple seating options to enjoy the sun from different angles throughout the day.
Our design began with a spacious patio directly off the house, setting the stage for a seamless indoor-outdoor flow. We created zoned areas to add depth and variety, including a lush square plot of grass edged in a mix of grey and white gravel, bringing in softness and structure. A custom block-paved pathway extends through the length of the garden, leading to a modern paved seating area. This new layout provides flexibility, charm, and an inviting atmosphere that feels like a true escape.
