Modern Garden Transformation in Blyton

At Bradley and James Garden Design, we recently had the pleasure of transforming a large, rectangular back garden in Blyton into a stunning outdoor retreat. Originally a simple patch of grass, our clients desired a space that would invite enjoyment, relaxation, and entertainment, all while complementing the serene farmland surroundings.

Design Highlights:

Central Patio Area: We created a central patio area accessible via a path on the right-hand side of the garden. This focal point features exquisite white porcelain tiles bordered by dark grey bricks, offering a contemporary and durable surface for outdoor living.

State-of-the-Art Pergola: To address the occasional winds, we installed a state-of-the-art pergola with sliding sections. This innovative design not only provides shade and shelter but also allows for flexibility in enjoying the panoramic views without compromising comfort.

Integrated Planters: Enhancing the modern aesthetic, we designed a sleek planter using the same porcelain tiles. Filled with lush, leafy green evergreens, these planters add vibrancy and a sense of natural tranquillity to the space.

Privacy and Greenery: A strategically placed new tree in front of the pergola will eventually screen it from view, enhancing privacy and creating a more intimate atmosphere within the garden.

Perimeter Enhancements: We upgraded the perimeter with a new fence and carefully selected planting, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing boundary that complements the garden’s overall design.

Thoughtful Lighting: LED lighting was integrated around the pergola, along the path, and on the fence. This subtle illumination not only enhances safety and usability but also extends the garden’s charm into the evening hours.

Our clients now have a garden that not only meets their practical needs but also fulfils their desire for a stylish and functional outdoor space. Whether lounging on a cosy outdoor sofa set or dining al fresco at their new table, they can now fully embrace and enjoy their surroundings throughout the seasons.
