The vision for the Peace Garden was to establish a serene environment with distinct zones for sitting, meditating, contemplating, and enjoying food and drink. Minimal Timber Bench Seating with Fire Pit:
Located just off the house, this area features a sleek timber bench integrated with fixed seating, perfect for entertaining. The seating is complemented by a warm and inviting fire pit, creating a cozy atmosphere for all seasons.
Perennial Planters:
Surrounding the seating area, we incorporated a variety of perennials in raised planters. These not only add a splash of color and texture but also provide a sense of enclosure and privacy, enhancing the overall tranquility of the space.
Chevron Black Paving:
This modern touch adds a stylish contrast to the natural elements of the garden, offering a sleek and contemporary look.
Lawn
Centrally located within the garden is a lush strip of lawn. This expanse softens the overall look and feel, balancing the variety of hardscapes and providing a refreshing green canvas that invites barefoot strolls and playful activities.
Porcelain Path and Raised Private Seating Area:
A porcelain-tiled path meanders through the garden, guiding visitors past the garden office to a secluded seating area. sheltered by a pergola, this private nook is perfect for quiet contemplation or enjoying a good book in the shade.
